Areas of research: English as a lingua franca Pragmatics and rhetoric E-learning and teaching I have studied rhetoric and English linguistics at Uni Tübingen. Currently, I am doing my dissertation on the use of English as a lingua franca. I teach Pragmatics in the department and I am involved in the EU projects PELLIC and Backbone .
